Dr. Janette Engelbrecht, DACM on the Dao of Food

Janette Engelbrecht, DACM, graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts of Asheville, NC in 2019.  As a Chinese medicine practitioner, she uses the modalities of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, qigong, and nutrition as her model of care.  She has a special interest in the areas of oncology, digestion, nutrition, and fertility.  Janette will be working through her board exams over the summer and is delighted to give her first public lecture as a Doctor in the UP at Full Moon Rising. 

The Dao of Food will cover some of the basic tenets of Chinese medicine and nutrition including eating for different stages of disease, seasonal eating, and making food choices that support your Elemental type.
