Full Moon Rising is a Wellness Studio located in Norway, Michigan. The studio offers services and classes to help one along their path to health and wellness. It is designed to be a place for physical, emotional, and spiritual growth and development for children and adults. Services offered include Therapeutic Massage, Somatic Bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy, Yoga and Meditation Instruction as well as Certified Lactation Counseling and Doula services. We maintain the highest standards professionally, ethically and academically, yet remain rooted in a place of love and compassion. In addition to services offered, Full Moon Rising serves as a conscious community space, supporting the healing and fine arts, allowing individuals to offer and partake in a variety of workshops, classes and art openings.

Mindful Childbirth education classes:
The next class will be held on Tuesdays from September 19-October 8 from 6:00-8:00pm at Full Moon Rising.
What you will learn:
This course is designed to educate and support parents through pregnancy and the childbirth journey. Topics include prenatal health, exercise, and nutrition, mindfulness practices, signs of labor, potential interventions, comfort care measures, and education for the support partners. It also includes postpartum care, maternal mental health, and more.
Meet your instructors:
Dr. Jenny DeDecker is a birth doula, certified lactation counselor, and maternal health researcher. She is a professor of Research and Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University. Dawn Smith is a doula and childbirth educator. She is also the Scholarship Administrator at Iron Mountain High School. Jenny and Dawn have been supporting families in the area for over a decade.
Registration:

PayPal and Venmo are also available. Tuition is $259 and students receive a 20% discount for Jenny’s Breastfeeding Education course offered fall 2024.
